Peregian Beach,
Four guests, private en-suite rooms and no group therapy at all, with a separate sole-occupancy tier for clients who must not meet anyone.
Noosa Confidential is built around one organising rule: everything is delivered one to one, and there is no group therapy of any kind. Its main residential programme is one-to-one therapy, not single-client occupancy. Up to four guests live in the same hinterland house, each in a private en-suite bedroom, working through individually scheduled days combining psychology, psychotherapy, functional medicine, naturopathy, nutrition, somatic and equine work, exercise physiology and nervous-system regulation, with laboratory testing folded in. Those four guests share the house, the chef, the pool, the gym and the grounds daily. A separate tier, Noosa Exclusive, is the clinic's sole-occupancy product: a private residence sourced for one client, with no requirement to attend the Noosa residence or to interact with other clients at any point. The clinic is family-owned, states openly on its own FAQ that privately funded programmes like its own are not classified as hospitals or clinics, and includes twelve months of telehealth aftercare in every programme.
The clinic's own team page names 28 to 31 people with photographs and roles. Most are published by first name only, with surnames appearing on some individual profile pages.

The core offering. Up to four guests, each in a private en-suite room, on entirely individual daily schedules built from one-to-one psychology, psychotherapy, functional medicine, naturopathy, nutrition, movement and somatic work, with laboratory testing folded in. There is no group therapy at any point. All meals, supplements, testing, therapies, accommodation and airport transfers are included; flights are not.
Matched to the residential programme
-
The sole-occupancy tier. A private coastal or hinterland residence is sourced and prepared for one client, with a dedicated clinical team, private chef, dedicated concierge and optional overnight support staff, and all clinical and therapeutic sessions conducted in the client's own space. No group sessions, and the clinic states there is no requirement to attend the Noosa residence or to interact with other clients at any point.
Matched to the residential programme
-
The same clinical structure delivered while the client stays in separately arranged private accommodation rather than the Noosa Residence, with clinical sessions held at the clinic's own facility and the option of a support person staying with the client. For guests who need more autonomy or a longer runway.
Four to twelve weeks
From AUD 11,595
The clinic's only published price. It opens with a two to three day in-person intensive in or around Noosa, then continues in person or virtually with individual medical, therapy, nutrition, movement and nervous-system support from the same dedicated team. The clinic states it is for milder presentations and is not suitable for co-occurring conditions or for addiction, OCD or eating disorders.
Twelve months after the residential stay
Included in every programme
Structured continuing care delivered by the same clinical team that ran the residential stay rather than handed to a separate provider, with ongoing one-to-one telehealth sessions with practitioners the client already knows, help planning local referrals and scheduled check-ins. It is included in every programme at no extra cost and is the clinic's strongest structural differentiator.
The review base is moderate and consistent: 4.6 out of 5 from 46 Google reviews retrieved on 8 September 2026, mirrored at 4.6 from 46 on a commercial directory, and 4.7 out of 5 from 53 reviews on a third aggregator whose entries are drawn from the same Google corpus. No meaningful Trustpilot presence was found. The reviews read as credible. They are individually specific, several come from family members rather than guests, they span multiple years, and ratings are consistent across the aggregators, which is a better authenticity signal than a uniform 5.0 on a single platform. The sample is moderate rather than large, and the sources are not independent of one another. No national press feature, investigative coverage or independently adjudicated award was found. No lawsuit, complaint finding, health ombudsman investigation or regulatory action appears in any public source. That absence carries less weight than it would for a licensed hospital, because the clinic sits outside the Queensland private health facility inspection regime by its own account.

None claimed and none found.
A private residence in the Noosa hinterland, inside the Noosa UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, about 15 minutes from Noosa town and the beach, with its address deliberately unpublished. Four private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Interiors are deliberately domestic rather than clinical: light-filled non-clinical therapy rooms, private consultation spaces, yoga and movement areas, a fully equipped gym, a dedicated massage and bodywork room, an acupuncture space, a sauna, an ice bath, a magnesium pool, and gardens with daybeds and hammocks. The environment is described as quiet and low-stimulus by design. Everyday comforts are retained: Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping, permission to bring pets, and flexibility for outings and visitors where clinically appropriate. Two honest limits. The residence is comfortable and well equipped rather than grand: it is a house, not an estate, and no dramatic outlook is claimed beyond the hinterland setting. And all of those amenities are shared by up to four guests. The Noosa Exclusive tier sits in a separately sourced residence and is not described by any of the above. The clinic states that it uses multiple residences within the Noosa shire to maintain location privacy.
A genuine strength for a house of this size. A named private chef prepares every meal on site, tailored to each guest's programme. The kitchen is run as a therapeutic instrument rather than a hospitality amenity: the published focus is gut health, blood-sugar stability, inflammation reduction and nervous-system regulation, using premium ingredients and produce from the garden. It is backed by a clinical nutrition function rather than a menu claim. A Head of Nutrition, a GAPS-qualified coach, oversees the design and delivery of personalised nutritional programmes, working alongside a naturopath, with laboratory and functional testing feeding into supplementation and dietary protocols, all included in the programme price. What is not evidenced: any gourmet or hatted background for the chef, any degree-qualified dietitian or nutritionist with a stated registration, and no nutrition assessment timed on admission, no plan built from laboratory data and no monitoring that adjusts the plan on repeat measurements is published.
one to one therapy
The clinic sells two products and they sit at different levels of separation, a distinction the sector routinely blurs and the clinic itself does not. The standard residential programme is one-to-one therapy. Everything clinical is delivered one to one and there is no group therapy and no group treatment of any kind, so two guests are never in a therapeutic room together. But up to four guests live in the same house at the same time and share the kitchen, chef, dining, magnesium pool, sauna, gym, gardens and outings. They meet daily. Each guest does have a private en-suite bedroom, the residence address is unpublished, a published client privacy policy exists, and the clinic states that all staff and consultants have agreed to comply with strict confidentiality even after they stop working for the programme. Noosa Exclusive is the sole-occupancy tier. A residence is sourced and prepared for one client alone, with a dedicated clinical team and private chef, therapies delivered inside that accommodation, no group sessions, and, in the clinic's own words, no requirement to attend the Noosa residence or to interact with other clients at any point. One qualification, stated plainly: that undertaking appears as programme wording on the clinic's own page and no contract text is published. Against both tiers: no emergency transfer protocol, and no sole-occupancy price is published.
Headline basis: Public evidenceThe headline number is the public score, not the extended score., LROAS 1.0.0, edition 2026-10-01
Public-evidence total: 46
The sum of the ten criterion scores, from 10 to 100, using evidence anyone can check, including the clinic's own pages as self-declared statements. For the licence element of C2 only, it can also use an authority ruling held in our sealed evidence room. It is the only number used for the rank.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: medium. ProvisionalA check was still open when the edition closed, for example a register lookup or a video not yet received, or evidence under embargo.: none.
The standard offer has no group therapy and a small shared house of up to four clients, each with a private room and bathroom, sharing dining, kitchen, pool, gym and garden, with an unpublished residence address and a staff confidentiality undertaking that continues after employment: band 7. A separately sold sole-occupancy tier (Noosa Exclusive) with no requirement to attend the residence or meet other clients adds 1, reaching the band 8 ceiling. The About page heading says five guests maximum while the FAQ and residence page say four; this is a capacity-number difference about the same model, so no deduction applies. Band 9 is not reached because standard-offer clients share a house and no schedule keeps them apart.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: medium
By the clinic's own account its programme is not classified as a hospital or clinic, and the Queensland Health licensed facilities list was not retrievable, so no operating licence is established. A Medical Director, an emergency specialist, is named, and psychiatric care by a psychiatrist is stated on two of the clinic's own pages, which holds band 4. The residence states 24/7 support and supervision without naming a physician or psychiatrist, so overnight medical cover is not established and band 5 is not reached. Detox location is conflicting, since one page says medically supervised detox is arranged before admission, and no accreditation, named hospital route or defined programme for complex presentations is published.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: high
One element is met: testing is included in the residential pathway and the About page describes thorough testing at the start. No named instrument, laboratory partner, ECG or imaging is published, and no clinician is named as ordering or reading tests. The pre-admission comprehensive assessment names no assessor, and no psychiatric or physical examination on admission or written formulation is published, so the band above is not reached.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: medium
Daily one-to-one therapy is an inclusion for every residential guest and the residential programmes page states there are no group sessions, which holds band 5 (five or more individual sessions a week). No session length or daily hours are published. A dedicated team, including overnight care if required, is stated only for the Noosa Exclusive tier; in the standard residence the team is pooled or unstated, and 24-hour clinical presence is not established, so band 6 is not reached.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: medium
Seven elements are met, including a defined twelve-month duration and delivery by the same team: aftercare is included as standard, delivered by telehealth with practitioners the client already knows, with local referrals, check-ins, a non-residential step-down programme and family guidance. Post-discharge psychiatric review and medication follow-up, a written plan before discharge and coordination with the client's own doctors are not described, so the band above is not reached.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: medium
A sweep of the clinic's own domains, including a second operated site, found no ranking page, no sponsored content, no award presented as accreditation and no assistant-directed content. Self-descriptions as Australia's leading residential retreat name no award or publisher and rank no other clinic. No positive signal is published: the residential price is on enquiry, the referral page states no fee position, and no declining or voluntary-admission policy exists, so the clean sweep gives band 4.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: low
Two elements are met: fee inclusions, with residential programmes covering everything except flights, and a statement of limits naming presentations the non-residential programme does not suit. No deposit, cancellation, refund, extension or early-departure terms are published. The website terms give an address only with no legal entity, although Noosa Confidential Pty Ltd appears on the national business register, and no external complaints body, retention period, licence reference or inspection result is published. No contradiction was deducted.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: high
No court, tribunal or regulator outcome and no open case was found. There is no inspection record because no licence is held and the licensing register was not retrievable, no first-hand bylined reporting, and no second independent review platform, since the aggregator found mirrors Google reviews only. With no finding and no standing element, the clinic sits in the not-published band.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: high
Four environment elements are met: non-clinical therapy rooms, a bodywork room, gym and gardens, named residence staff including a house manager, and flexibility for outings and visitors. No emergency route, resuscitation equipment or medication rules are published. The residence street address is unpublished, so a travel time to an emergency department cannot be sourced from the residence; the route derived from the office address does not count. Environment sits at 5 and nutrition at 4 (a private chef and a nutrition lead without a registered qualification); the mean of 4.5 rounds up to 5.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: medium
The team page lists 28 people, most by first name only, including a Medical Director, two registered psychologists and three registered nurses, with no psychiatrist named and no registration details. Without surnames no credential can be matched to the national register, and archive captures of the team page are not registration. The facility licence is not proven, so no credential counts and the band is 1.
ConfidenceHow well the evidence supports the score.: low
The clinic does not publish a residential price. Its own pricing page says price on enquiry, and quotes are built after an initial consultation and comprehensive assessment. The only figure it publishes is AUD 11,595 as the starting price for non-residential programmes. Everything except flights is included on the clinic's own account: accommodation, all therapies, meals, supplements, laboratory testing, airport transfers and twelve months of aftercare. The sole-occupancy Noosa Exclusive tier carries no published price at all. Payment is by direct debit or credit card, with full invoices and receipts; no deposit, cancellation or refund terms are published.
The residence sits in the Noosa hinterland on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, inside the Noosa UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, about 15 minutes from Noosa town and the beach. The admissions office is at Suite 5, 20/224 David Low Way, Peregian Beach QLD 4573; the residence address is deliberately not published, and the clinic states it uses multiple residences within the Noosa shire to maintain location privacy. The setting is quiet, low-stimulus, subtropical and warm year-round, with surf, national park, paddleboarding and hiking used therapeutically. No nearest hospital and no transfer protocol are published.
Adults who want intensive individual treatment without ever sitting in a group. It suits professionals, business owners and families who need psychological, medical, nutritional and physiological work handled together rather than sequentially. The standard residence takes four guests at a time, so it is not a mass programme, but those four do share the house and grounds daily. For someone who cannot be seen by another client at all, the Noosa Exclusive tier provides a sole-occupancy private residence with no contact with other guests at any point. Anyone needing medically complex withdrawal or ongoing psychiatric prescribing should note that the clinic is not a licensed health facility and names no psychiatrist on its own roster.
Admission begins with an initial consultation and comprehensive assessment, after which a tailored proposal and price are issued. Accepted guests are matched with a dedicated care coordinator who handles intake, programme planning, travel, transfers and accommodation preferences. A structured preparation and support phase runs before arrival rather than starting on day one, so entry is planned rather than immediate. Intervention and concierge services are available. The minimum residential stay is four weeks. No waiting time is published. Where clinically indicated, the clinic states that a medically supervised detox is arranged before admission.
Every programme, residential and non-residential, includes twelve months of structured telehealth aftercare as standard, at no additional cost. It is delivered by the same clinical team that ran the residential stay rather than handed to a separate aftercare provider, with ongoing one-to-one telehealth sessions with the psychologists, medical professionals and allied health practitioners the client already knows from the stay. The clinic also helps plan local referrals and check-ins, and family and loved-one support runs alongside the residential stay.
